Outdoor Education is more than just being outdoors: Educational theories supporting discovery learning (Bruner, J,1976) encourage stewardship during the leaning process for our students.
A recent activity saw a group of learners complete the planting of Hornbeam saplings, learning about sustainability and regenerative practices. Parallel to this it taught them about the recycling and empathy upon discovering an crisp packet dated to 1998!
