  • Independence-focused sessions to build life skills and confidence

Supporting Learners with SEMH:

  • Our internal team includes a specialist children’s mental health nurse
  • Tutors receive supervision and guidance to understand and support learners with SEMH barriers
  • We tailor each programme to the learner’s needs, combining educational support with emotional and social development

Tailored Support for Special Educational Needs:

  • Individualised packages to meet academic, personal, and vocational goals

Additional Costs:

In addition to the agreed hourly rate, schools are responsible for covering the cost of Functional Skills exams that learners take. If a learner requires taxi transport to sessions, this cost is also the responsibility of the school. Let’s Make Change (LMC) provides tutors who hold business insurance and enhanced DBS checks, enabling them to safely transport learners to and from sessions when required.

What to Wear:

Learners are advised to wear casual everyday clothes that are appropriate & allow them to participate in session without any barriers.

Qualifications & Outcomes:

Working with Let’s Make Change (LMC) helps learners engage more in education, strengthens families’ relationships with educational services, and ensures effective safeguarding in all sessions. Learners can access Functional Skills in Maths and English, ASDAN awards for personal and employability development, and Arts Awards to build creativity and confidence. These qualifications are delivered through tailored 1‑to‑1 and community-based programmes to support education, independence, and future pathways.
