To celebrate Halloween, our J16 Hair and Beauty students focused on the hairdressing side of their course by taking on a creative styling challenge.
After exploring different looks, students planned their designs and then brought them to life on training heads using a range of styling techniques and accessories.
There were plenty of spooky creations, with learners showing imagination, patience and a real eye for detail.
The session gave students the chance to build on their practical hairdressing skills while trying something a little different from their usual work. It was great to see the variety of ideas on display, with each learner putting their own spin on the task and taking pride in the finished result.
As well as developing styling techniques, students practised planning their work, following a design brief and adapting their ideas as they went along. The atmosphere was relaxed and positive, with learners sharing ideas and encouraging one another throughout the session.
