Grand Opening of iD Derby’s Newly Remodelled Centre
We were delighted to attend and celebrate the grand opening of iD Derby’ newly renovated centre. The event featured an open house with guided tours, live art demonstrations, and opportunities to meet the team and learn more about the therapy and creative wellbeing programmes on offer. Families, professionals, and members of the public were warmly welcomed.
The centre was officially opened by Baggy Shanker, MP for Derby South marking an exciting new chapter in the company’s mission to support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of both adults and children through creativity and expression.
The new facility was designed to be a warm, inclusive, and inspiring space where individuals of all ages could explore arts therapy, creative workshops, and community wellbeing programmes. With dedicated therapy rooms, group spaces, and an open studio environment, the centre now hosts a wide range of services, including one-to-one arts therapy (Art, Drama, Music, Dance/Movement), family sessions, and group workshops focused on mental health, self-expression, and resilience.
iD Derby is one of our AP providers and they currently have AP spaces available across the week.
